Trust; The Foundation for Effective Facilitation & Leadership

This one day class provides foundational instruction to help new facilitators and leaders understand how to build teams by building trust within teams. This day will include information and discussion on:

  • Understanding the six facets of building trust as a leader (communication, responsibility, team building, developing proficiency, demonstrating respect, and living the guiding principles)
  • Understanding and navigating conflict
  • Developing mission, vision, and guiding principles for your team
  • How to run more effective meetings that achieve results
  • Understanding conscience inferences impact decision-making

This training focuses on leaders who facilitate teams from many organizations and therefore lack positional authority to use more traditional sources of influence to lead others. Target audience examples include: Child Advocacy Center MDT leaders, Intergovernmental Task Force leaders, and grass root teams from local volunteer organizations.
